Ragersville Zion Church at a Glance

Since 1837, Zion Church has been a beacon of hope in the Sugarcreek area.  In earlier days, we

were a part of the German Reformed, the Evangelical and Reformed, the Congregationalist, and the United Church movements, but we find ourselves today the same as we have always been:  a Bible-believing, Evangelical Congregation who love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.  We invite you to worship and serve with us.  You'll love it here!

Ragersville Zion Church emphasizes family, community and missions.  We have a safe environment for children and teens.  We serve Tuscarawas county  organizations by providing beautiful banquet facilities in our picturesque setting.  The funds we raise from our venue

help finance ministries such as Public School Christian Education, Operation Christmas Child, Dress A Child, as well as help

individuals in times of need.  We welcome you to join with us in our fellowship and ministry!

The Streets

Homeless Outreach

Zion Church packs and delivers 200 food boxes each Christmas to the Camp Washington, Cincinnati outreach center.  We invite 8 other churches to join with us on a very special day of fellowship and work each November.  This project costs around $5K each year and it always has many cheerful donors and volunteers.

Community Service

Food Donations

Each week, the children in our school district have "Power Packs" of weekend food made up for them if they need it.  We have joined other churches in our area to pack and  distribute about 100 of these each week.

Picking Up Trash

"Even the Son of Man did not come into the world to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many"  Matthew 20:28

Young people are encouraged to serve.  Some are sent on short term mission assignments through our Mission Endowment Fund.  Others serve through our local, regional and world mission projects.
